Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to know how to draw or paint?
No, we will show you how! Just relax and have a good time! Our teaching process breaks down the paintings step-by-step, so you go home with a painting you are proud of! We use a variety of hand-cut stencils to help you draw out the shapes seen in the paintings.
Is this class only for beginners?
No, we welcome all levels of skill. Our more experienced painters have just as much fun, and explore their painting beyond the step-by-step instructions given.
What types of painting classes do you offer?
Our most popular class uses acrylic paint on a traditional 16x20″ canvas. We also occassionally offer various projects on other size traditional canvas and wood canvas. Check out the monthly schedule for what classes we have available.
What is paint pouring?
Paint pouring is a unique workshop we offer occassionally. We show you the art of creating color schemes, mixing paint with various mediums and techniques used to layer paint artisically onto a set of 4 smaller canvases to create a 4-piece set! This workshop lasts around 1-1.5 hours usually and can also be booked as a private party. See the image below to view some past examples from our workshop.
Is there a minimum number of people required to hold a class?
Yes, for a scheduled public class on our calendar, we do reserve the right to cancel if we do not receive the minimum amount of pre-registrations. We encourage you to sign up for a class early if you are interested! If class is cancelled, we will offer a full refund or class credit to you.
When are classes held?
We generally hold classes in the evenings on weekdays and afternoons & evenings on weekends. We do not have a set schedule of hours or days that we are open.
